This is so good. The flavor is compliments the beef. It's sticky, sweet, & Spicy over the crusted steak. Love the earthiness of the mushrooms. This is a keeper

2round beef filets

2 Tbspvegetable oil

1/3 choisin sauce

8 ozshiitake mushrooms stemmed and halved

1/4 cchives chopped

6 clovegarlic minced

1 Tbspginger grated

1/2 cdry sherry
How To Make hoisin glazed beef filet with shiitake mushrooms

1Preheat oven 400 degrees. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Add oil to skillet. Once the oil is hot sear the filets on all sides until a brown crust develops. Transfer the filets to a baking dish. Brush the hoisin sauce on both sides. Place in oven. Cook until internal temp reaches desired doneness. 125 F for medium rare.

2In the meanwhile add the mushrooms, ginger, and garlic to the skillet you seared the beef in. Season with salt and cook until mushrooms are browned. Add the chives and sherry and cook until the sherry has evaporated
