Ingredients For hobo-sacks

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 4 c
    baby carrots
  • 4 c
    potatoes cubed
  • 1 sm
    onion sliced
  • 1 dash
    black pepper
  • 1 dash
    salt

How To Make hobo-sacks

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Get a sheet about 12"x12" and lay it out on the counter.

    Divide your meat into 1/4 lb sections like you were making hamburger patties. Lay meat in center of foil. Arrange potatoes and carrots arround meat. Add a slice of onion on top and sprinle with salt and pepper.

    When you are finished. Grap onto all 4 corners of foil and squeese together forming a tent or "Hobo-Sack"

    Place in the oven on the rack or on a cookie sheet and cook for about an hour to hour and 20mins.
