I've perfected this recipe over the years and everyone seems to like it. The spice mixture is easy to tweak according to taste. A can of tomato sauce and a can of beef broth can be added to thin the chili a bit if you like a soupier chili.

1 mdred onion, sliced

3 Tbsplemon juice

1 canbeer

1 cantomato paste, 12 ounce

1 cancampbell's fiesta nacho cheese soup

1 canblack beans
-
1 canpinto beans

1 jarsalsa, 16 ounce

1 Tbspmustard, spicy brown

1 Tbspchili powder
-
1 Tbspcayenne pepper

1 Tbspgarlic salt

1 Tbspground cumin
How To Make hearty chili

1Add onion, garlic, lemon juice, peppers, ginger, and cilantro to food processor and process until smooth.

2Brown ground beef in large pot. Add onion mixture. Saute for 5 minutes, stirring as needed. Add beer and stir to combine.

3Add tomato paste, soup, and salsa to pot, stirring after each addition. Add mustard and spices.

4Add cans of beans, stirring to combine. Taste and adjust to make sure seasoning is correct. Simmer for 10 minutes more on low heat. Serve warm.
