I took one of "Betty's " and made it mine by changing it up, as I don't care that much for mushrooms.

Ingredients For hamburger stroganoff

  • 1-1 1/2 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 sm
    onion
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 can
    condensed chicken noodle soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 8 oz
    egg noodles, uncooked

How To Make hamburger stroganoff

    Put noodles on and cook.

    While noodles are cooking ,chop onions and garlic and add to frying pan with hamburger. Brown hamburger and drain off grease.

    Add chicken noodle soup( do not add water to either can of soup). Cook about 5 min. then add cream of chicken soup.Cook 3-5 min. more as you stir and mix all ingredients.

    Remove from heat and add sour cream( you can use all 8 oz. or just to your taste). Drain noodles and pour hamburger mixture into noodles. Mix well and enjoy!

    This is good served with a salad and buttered bread.
