Ingredients For hamburger steaks

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp
    sage
  • 1 lg
    egg -- beatened
  • 1/2 c
    beef broth
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs or crackers
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot oil
  • 1 sm
    onion -- diced
  • 1 can
    mushrooms
  • 1 pkg
    brown gravy mix

How To Make hamburger steaks

    Combine ground beef, seasoned salt, sage, egg, diced onion, bread crumbs, and 1/2 Cup of Beef Broth.

    Mix well, shape into patties.

    Brown on both sides really well and then add them to a casserole pan.

    Top the hamburger steaks with mushrooms and brown gravy.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 375.
