Ingredients For hamburger gravy with pork and beans over cornbread

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 md
    onion, diced
  • 2 lg
    cans pork and beans
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder with parsley
  • 2 Tbsp
    molasses
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • cornbread or corn muffins for serving

How To Make hamburger gravy with pork and beans over cornbread

  • 1
    Saute ground beef and onions until meat is fully cooked and onions are tender. Add remaining ingredients except cornbread. Simmer to let flavors marry.
