Had this recipe for many years. Came from a recipe book from my Ladies of Sodality cookbook. I helped sell these books after church to raise money.
I have so many tried and true recipes in there that I have used for many years. Submitted by Pat Fein

This is wonderful when you need something quick and don't have much in the house ~ Great for my Hamburg Lovers Group!

Ingredients For hamburg casserole quick and easy

  • 1 lb
    hamburg
  • 1 can
    corn niblets
  • 1 can
    green beans
  • 1 can
    stewed tomatoes
  • 4-5
    medium potatoes cooked and mashed

How To Make hamburg casserole quick and easy

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees F
    Cook hamburg loose in skillet.
    Add stewed tomatoes, drained corn and green beens.
    Heat all.
    Pour into deep casserole dish.
    Cover with mashed potatoes.

    Bake 350 degree oven til tops of potatoes are brown.

    One of those didn't have much in the house recipes, haha ~~
