A Southern CA Pub is known for the best their chili by their patrons, so I asked and shock, shock, I was given their secret! Beer! So I added beer to my chili recipe and it turned out GREAT!

Ingredients For guinness chili

2 lbground beef
-
2 cbeef broth
-
1onion, finely chopped

1 clovegarlic, minced

4 Tbspchili powder
-
3 Tbspcumin
-
1 cantomato paste, small
-
1 7-3/4 can"el pato" sauce with jalapenos
-
1 14-1/2oz cantomatoes, crushed

1 15oz canpinto beans, drained

1 canguinness beer
How To Make guinness chili

1Brown the meat and onions and garlic in a large skillet.

2Add beef broth, seasonings, tomatoes, El Pato and tomato paste.

3Simmer 30 minutes.

4Add can Guinness, Pinto beans, and simmer another 30 minutes.

5Garnish with: 1 pint Sour Cream 1 bunch Green Onion (chopped) 8 oz package Shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
