When I make this, I actually don't use onions....my husband is very allergic. When he isn't eating though onions make this much better. I also use cube bouillion and fresh mushrooms instead of canned, but this recipe is a good base. You also don't have to cook it near the amount of time shown if you are in a hurry...use the same frying pan you brown the beef in!

2 lbground beef

2 mdonions, chopped

2garlic cloves, minced

1 smcan sliced mushrooms, drained

2.5 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper
-
1 cconsomme or bouillon
-
3 Tbsptomato paste

1.5 csour cream mixed with 4 tablespoons flour
How To Make ground beef stroganoff

1Brown ground beef in large skillet; add onions, garlic and mushrooms.

2Saute until onion is golden brown.

3Put in crock pot with all remaining ingredients.

4Stir thoroughly.

5Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

6Serve over hot buttered noodles or rice.
