Ingredients For ground beef patties w wild mushroom & onion gravy

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 6 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/4 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • WILD MUSHROOM AND ONION GRAVY
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 4 oz
    each oyster mushrooms, hen of the woods mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms chopped
  • 1 l
    onion sliced
  • 1/4 c
    bourbon
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    better than bouillon beef paste
  • 1 tsp
    kitchen bouquet

How To Make ground beef patties w wild mushroom & onion gravy

    Mix the all the ingredients for the beef patties except the oil. Shape into 6 patties. Add oil to large skillet and fry the patties until done. Remove from skillet and set aside.

    Add 2 tbsp oil to pan and add the onions and mushrooms. Saute until onions are translucent. Add the bourbon and let reduce until almost evaporated.

    Add the butter and flour and make a roux. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until thickened. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Add the patties and any juices back to the pan. Let cook 1 minute
