2 Tbspgreen pepper, minced

1.5 ctomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
How To Make ground beef in pita

1Heat the bread in a low oven.

2Heat the butter in a skillet and saute the onion, garlic and pepper until just soft; do not brown.

3Add the beef, mustard, oregano, salt and a generous amount of pepper.

4Cook, stirring, until the meat is no longer red.

5At the last minute stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook briefly.

6Cut the pitas in half and stuff the pouches.
