This is one of my family's favorite casserole. **Note: This recipe makes 13*9, you can reduce to 1 lb of meat, 1 cup of rice, 1 can of soup, and 1/2 cup 0f cheese if you want to do a 8*8 size pan. Enjoy! The leftovers are great for lunch the next day.

Ingredients For ground beef and rice casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef or ground turkey
  • 3 c
    minute rice
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup, fat-free
  • 2 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 c
    grated mild cheddar cheese

How To Make ground beef and rice casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 to 375 degrees depending on your oven.

    Brown meat with salt and pepper. Cook rice according to box.

    In a large bowl combine cooked rice, meat, soup and 1 cup of the cheese. Pour into a greased glass 13 x 9 glass pan. Then top with remaining cheese.

    Cover and bake for approimately 30-35 minutes.
