Ingredients For grilled veal chops with pecan stuffing

1 cpecans, lightly toasted

1 cfresh spinach leaves, packed

1 cfresh basil leaves, packed

1/3 cfresh flat-leaf parsley

3 Tbspolive oil

1 Tbspwhite wine vinegar

1 tspgarlic, minced

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspblack pepper, freshly ground

61 1/2 inch veal chops (about 4 1/2 pounds) with a pocket cut in

1 Tbspolive oil

1/4 tspblack pepper
How To Make grilled veal chops with pecan stuffing

1Add the first 4 ingredients to a food processor. Process 30 seconds or until finely chopped. Gradually pour 3 tablespoons oil and vinegar into the food processor while the food processor is running until the mixture is well blended. Place the mixture into a bowl and stir in garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.

2Stuff the pecan mixture into the pockets of the veal chops. Secure with wooden picks. Brush each chop with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Grill, covered, over medium hot coals (350-400°) for 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Remove the wooden picks.
