You can't go wrong with a good grilled ribeye. Slap it between some good bread add a little mayo, spicy steak sauce, grilled onions and cheese and your hubby, will be one happy camper. Enjoy this and share it with a friend. Happy Cooking sw:)

Ingredients For grilled ribeye sub for the hubs

  • 2
    rib eye steaks
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose greek seasoning
  • 4 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 oz
    fresh portabello mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1 md
    onion, sliced
  • 8 slice
    sharp provolone cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil mayo
  • 1/4 c
    favorite steak sauce
  • 2 tsp
    sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 lg
    foccacia bread

How To Make grilled ribeye sub for the hubs

    Season steaks with 1/2 of the greek seasoning and 1 tbsp evoo
  • 2
    In a heated skillet, add 2 tbsp of evoo and thyme. Saute mushrooms until golden brown
  • 3
    Brush onion slices with remaining evoo and greek seasoning. Grill onions on heated skillet until soft and golden

    Grill steaks to desired doneness, let rest and slice. Place onion, mushrooms, spicy sauce and cheese on top of warm sliced steak. On a large oven proof pan, add bread halves (inside facing up) and steaks, Broil on high for 1 minute or until cheese has melted and bread is toasted.

    Build your sandwich: Slather mayo on both sides of bread, top with steak and goodies followed by the top half of bread. Cut into 4 equal sandwiches. Enjoy
