Ingredients For green pepper steak

1 lbround steak

1 cwater
-
1 Tbspcornstarch

1thinly sliced celery stalk

1 cred or green bell pepper

1 cgreen onions, thinly sliced

1/4 csalad oil
-
1.5 tspgrated fresh ginger

1clove garlic, diced
-
1/4 csoy sauce
-
2tomatoes, cut in wedges
How To Make green pepper steak

1Cut beef across grain into thin strips, 1/8\" thick.

2Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

3Add beef; toss.

4Set aside while preparing vegetables.

5Heat oil in wok.

6Add beef, toss over high heat until browned.

7Taste meat.

8If it is not tender, cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.

9Turn heat up and add vegetables.

10Toss until vegetables are tender crisp, about 10 minutes.

11Mix cornstarch with water.

12Add to pan.

13Stir and cook until thickened.

14Add tomatoes.
