green onion burgers with bacon and avocado butter

I made these for lunch one day, and they are very tasty!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Wrapping a burger in lettuce is a great alternative for a bun if cooking gluten-free, but it also lightens up the overall burger. There is no lack of flavor here. Incorporating green onions into the meat adds a bit of texture and a hint of onion flavor. The mashed avocado and bacon bits "butter" really makes the burger. It's creamy, crunchy and the perfect topping to add a punch of flavor.
