How To Make greek cheese burgers with tzatziki
-
1Tzatziki: Salt cucumber slices with the kosher salt in a bowl;stir to coat all. Set aside for 30 minutes. Rinse lightly and drain. Place cucumbers on paper towel to draw out more water. Wipe dry before using. Now in a food processor, add cucumbers, lemon juice, garlic, dill and pepper. Pulse to finely chop, stir into yogurt. Set aside for 2 hours. THIS RESTING TIME IS VERY IMPORTANT- check for salt and re-season if necessary, before serving. --- Cheese Burgers: Heat the grill or a skillet to medium-high. Mix ground beef and remaining ingredients; mixing well to combine. Shape into 4 patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on one side and flip and cook 3-4 minutes on other or until desired degree of doneness you like. Serve on a bun with the cucumber relish or serve the relish on the side- I like it in the bun with the burger.
