Something my grandma used to make at home, alot. Makes me think of her everytime we have it and the kids always enjoy it. Simple combination.

Ingredients For grandmas hamburger stew

  • 1 lb
    hamburger cooked and crumbled
  • 1 can
    28oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can
    stew tomatoes
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn
  • 1 can
    peas
  • 1 can
    green beans
  • 1 c
    raw baby carrots
  • 3 stick
    celery cut into bite size pieces
  • 5 lg
    russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 5 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    beef better than bullion
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered garlic
  • 1 md
    white onion cut up
  • salt & pepper to taste

How To Make grandmas hamburger stew

  • 1
    Add Cooked hamburger, Tomatoes both cans, Baby Carrots, Potatoes, Onion, Celery, Onion, water, and seasonings into crock pot cook on high for 6 hours.

    1 hour before done, add Can corn, peas and green beans (this keeps from over cooking and not being all yucky mushy)

    Serve with Cornbread or Saltine crackers. Great to freeze or serve as left overs.
