3/4 coatmeal, uncooked

1.5 lbground beef

1/3 csour cream

2 Tbspbutter

1/2 conion, finely chopped

2/3 cmilk
How To Make gourmet meat loaf

1For filling, lightly brown mushrooms and onion in butter in medium-sized skillet. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.

2For meat loaf, combine all ingredients thoroughly.

3Place half of meat mixture in shallow baking pan.

4Shape to form an oval base.

5Lengthwise down the center make a shallow \"well\" for the filling.

6Spoon filling into \"well\".

7Shape remaining meat mixture over filling, making sure all filling is covered.

8Seal bottom and top meat mixtures together.

9Bake in preheated oven at 350 for about 1 hour.

10Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
