My mom actually served this at my wedding rehersal dinner! Everyone loved it. It's great for a meal or snacks for the kids. Pair it with a salad and some fresh fruit and you have a complete meal.

Ingredients For french bread bake

1 1/2 lbground beef
-
10 3/4 oztomato soup
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 dashpepper (to your taste)

1 tsporegano, dried (crushed)

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 lgloaf french bread, sliced length-wise, spread with garlic butter and toasted

14 slicetomato, sliced thin

12 slicecheddar cheese, sliced in triangles
How To Make french bread bake

1Mix meat, soup, salt, pepper, oregano and worcestershire sauce.

2Spread evenly on both halves of the toasted french bread, covering edges completely.

3Place both halves on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and top with alternating tomato and cheese slices. Return to oven long enough for cheese to melt. Slice and serve.
