Ingredients For fredda's slow cooker chili

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef or venison
  • 1 1/2 lb
    lean beef, such as sirloin or round steak, cut into small cubes
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    olive oil (if needed to brown meat)
  • 3 md
    onions, diced
  • 3
    jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
  • 3 can
    diced tomatoes (14.5 cans)
  • 2 can
    tomato juice (48 oz.)
  • 1 1/2 c
    chili powder
  • 1` Tbsp
    paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cumin
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 can
    wolf brand chili - no beans
  • 3 can
    ranch style beans (15 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1-3 Tbsp
    cornmeal (to thicken, as needed)

How To Make fredda's slow cooker chili

    Brown the ground beef and cubed meat.
  • 2
    In the slow cooker, combine the ground beef, lean beef, onion, peppers, diced tomatoes, tomato juice and spices. Cook on low for six hours.

    Stir in the Wolf Brand Chili, Ranch Style Beans, honey & cornmeal.

    Continue to cook on low for 1-3 hours.
