You notice there is no salt added to this recipe. The mushroom soup has a lot of salt ~ if you want more salt, add after tasting.

Ingredients For favorite baked steak

  • 1 pkg round steak, cut into four pieces, trimmed
  • 1 cup of flour, pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can of milk

How To Make favorite baked steak

  • 1
    Dredge pieces of steak in flour and brown in EVOO until slightly browned on both sides. Transfer steak to Pam sprayed casserole. Stir soup and milk until well blended and pour over steak. Pepper to taste. Bake at 350 degrees 2 hours. Serve with mashed potates and use sauce as gravy. We like this with coleslaw and brown sugar sweetened carrots.
