I was in the mood for Sloppy Joes. I hadn't had these since I was a kid. I accidentally added to much vinegar and it turned out amazing. Super tangy! We all loved it!

Ingredients For extra tangy and delicious sloppy joes

  • 1 Tbsp
    grapeseed oil
  • 1 md
    onion, diced
  • 1
    celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 1/4 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3/4 c
    kethcup
  • 3/4 c
    tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce or braggs amino acids
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    dry mustard

How To Make extra tangy and delicious sloppy joes

    Heat large skillet with oil, add onion and celery, saute for 5 minutes. Add garlic, saute 1 minute.

    Add ground beef and brown. Drain excess fat from beef.
  • 3
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 20 minutes.

    Serve on buns, toasted or not
