I came up with this recipe after experimenting with some similar stroganoff recipes. My family enjoys it because it's creamy and comforting. I like it because it's easy to make.

Ingredients For easy stroganoff

2 Tbspolive oil

1onion, chopped

2 clovegarlic, minced (optional)

1 lbsteak, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 ozsliced mushrooms

1-2 cancream of mushroom soup, undiluted (depending on how creamy you like your sauce)

8 ozsour cream
-
generous splash Worcestershire sauce (optional)

salt and pepper, to taste

hot cooked noodles or fettuccini

If your family really loves steak, we'd add another 1/2 pound to the recipe. But, as is, this dish is a winner.

1Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, steak, and mushrooms.
