These are like the ones you used to get in school, back in the day. Don't be intimidated by the Spam. It's what makes the pizza burgers! Besides a quick supper, they're a great hot appetizer. These keep well in refrigerator.

Ingredients For easy shmeasy pizza burgers

  • 1 lb
    hamburger browned, drained and cooled
  • 1 can
    spam, cubed in small cubes
  • 1 can
    pizza sauce
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano (or pizza seasoning)
  • 1
    dozen hamburger buns

How To Make easy shmeasy pizza burgers

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Separate one dozen hamburger buns and place on jelly roll pan so they are open faced.

    Mix hamburger, spam, pizza sauce and mozzarella. Add seasoning.

    By spoonfuls, top each half of bun with mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or when cheese is melted and buns start to turn golden brown.
