easy peasy sausage/sirloin/pasta bake

How To Make easy peasy sausage/sirloin/pasta bake
-
1PREP/PREPARE
-
2Gather your ingredients.
-
3Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 350f (180c).
-
4Cook the ground sirloin and sausage, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and reserve.
-
5Add the cooked al dente pasta to a large mixing bowl.
-
6Add the tomato sauce, and mix.
-
7Here is my favorite tomato sauce: https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/main-course/italian/classic-tomato-sauce.html?p=8
-
8Add the cooked sirloin/sausage, and mix.
-
9Chef’s Note: At this time add a bit of salt and pepper, to the mixture, to taste.
-
10Chef’s Note: I’m not adding a lot of additional spices to this dish because most of the flavor is coming from the tomato sauce. However, any additional spices are up to you.
-
11Grease the insides of a large baking dish, or 4 medium ramekins.
-
12Add the pasta/sauce/sausage mixture.
-
13I wanted my dish to be a bit juicier, so I added more tomato sauce.
-
14Cover with the mozzarella cheese.
-
15Place in the preheated oven and allow the dish to bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly, and begins to brown..
-
16PLATE/PRESENT
-
17Serve with a small side salad, and some nice crusty bread. Enjoy.
-
18Keep the faith, and keep cooking.

20Additionals: I'm thinking that some black or kalamata olives might give it a bit of a kick, and possibly some sautéed mushrooms...
