Ingredients For easy beef au poivre

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic, minced
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 c
    beef broth
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh parsley flakes, chopped
  • 1 c
    rice

How To Make easy beef au poivre

  • 1
    Brown meat with onions & garlic, drain. Add salt & pepper. Add 1/2 cup of broth & rice. Gradually add remaining broth as rice cooks until rice is tender.

    Add cream & parsely flakes. Allow to thicken slightly. Serve over slice of bread.

    Note: you can add additional broth & cream to make more of the sauce if you would like. Just give it time to thicken a little.
