I used to make this often when all the kids were still at home. There was always enough for drop ins. A big green salad on the side was all that was needed .

Ingredients For dorito casserole

  • 2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 lg
    onion chopped
  • 1 lg
    bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes orginal flavor chopped (do not drain)
  • 4 c
    grated mild or sharp cheese
  • 1 lg
    bag dorito chips (original flavor)

How To Make dorito casserole

  • 1
    Brown meat in skillet with onions and bell peppers, drain, stir into soups and tomatoes
  • 2
    open bag of chips and crush chips by squeezing bag in hands. Pour 1/2 in 9X13 baking dish.

    Pour half of meat/soup mixture over chips then layer with 1/2 of cheese. Repeat all layers using all ingredients and ending with cheese.

    Cook 20 min at 350 until cheese bubbles. Serve hot.
