These were always my favorite growing up - so much tastier that the manwich version. Mom mom didn't like the hot sauce - so Dad would tell her he left it out and sneak in one shake of the bottle. Fearing he would forget - us kids would each sneak in a shake while it simmered...made for a spicy BBQ! But we loved it! ... well.. maybe not Mom!

2 lbground beef

2 bottlechili sauce

1/2 bottlesweet barbecue sauce

1 dashhot sauce

1/2 mdonion, chopped
How To Make dad's sloppy joes

1Brown the ground beef with the onion.

2Drain.

3Stir in sauces and cook until bubbling.

4Serve on hamburger rolls or over mashed potatoes. Great reheated and can be frozen for later use. When frozen, place in a slow cooker for heating or back into the frying pan with a few ounces of water.
