Haven't made Swiss steak in forever. I found this recipe in Grandma's Favorite Dinners cookbook.

Ingredients For crockpot swiss steak

3 lb

thin top sirloin steak
1 lg

onion, cut in chunks
1 can

whole kernel corn, undrainned
1 can

whole tomatoes, undrainned and cut up

italian seasoning
salt & pepper or your favorite seasoning

How To Make crockpot swiss steak

Cut up steak in small pieces. Sprinkle both sides with seasoning. In a large frying pan, spray with non-stick spray. Brown and place in crockpot. In the same frying pan add rest of ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes;add some more seasoning to mixture. place over the top of the meat. Cook for 8 hrs on low setting. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
