Ingredients For crockpot steak and gravy

  • 2 lb
    round steak
  • 1
    salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 2 pkg
    onion soup mix
  • 4 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried green peppers

How To Make crockpot steak and gravy

    Cut steak into serving sized pieces, season with salt and pepper then dredge in flour.

    Heat oil in skillet, brown steak pieces.

    Place browned pieces in crockpot.

    Mix soup mix and water pour over steak in crockpot, add green pepper.

    Cook on high 2 hour or until steak is tender.

    This makes its own gravy, no thickening necessary.
