Ingredients For crockpot brisket

2.25 lbbeef brisket
-
2 Tbspquick cooking tapioca

1onion, quartered
-
5 smred potatoes, halved
-
3carrots, into 2 inch chunks

1bay leaf , crushed
-
3minced garlic cloves
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsprosemary
-
1/2 tspthyme
-
1 Tbspdijon mustard
-
3/4 cred wine
-
1 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1/4 cwater
How To Make crockpot brisket

1Trim fat from brisket.

2Heat oil in a large frying pan.

3Over medium-high until hot, brown brisket on all sides.

4Place carrots, onion and potatoes in crockpot.

5Sprinkle tapioca over top of vegetables.

6Add browned brisket.

7Combine wine and remaining ingredients.
-
8Pour over top of brisket.

9Cover with lid and cook on high for 4 1/2 to 5 hours or on low for 8 hours.

10The tapioca will thicken the liquid to make its own gravy.
