Very easy, savory stew. Throw it together in the morning, and by afternoon you have a hearty, hot meal in a bowl. Fresh potatoes and carrots can be used in place of the canned/bagged veggies I use.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

A simple slow cooker beef stew recipe where no peeling potatoes and carrots is required. That's a win for us! The meat is tender and cooks to perfection. Most beef stew recipes have potatoes and mushrooms, but button mushrooms are a nice surprise in this recipe. Once it slow cooks, the gravy is nice and thick without the work. An easy weeknight dinner.

  • Browning the seasoned beef.

In a 5 or 6-quart Crock Pot, combine the remaining ingredients.
  • Browned beef added to the slow cooker.

  • Covering the slow cooker while the stew cooks.
    4
Cover. Cook on low setting for 6 - 7 hours, or until meat and veggies are tender. Stir occasionally.
