crockpot beef and noodles

I had been craving beef and noodles. I defrosted some stew meat for Mongolian beef, but used stir fry beef instead. Beef and noodles was an excellent use for the stew meat. I tweaked a recipe I found and boy was it good!

Ingredients For crockpot beef and noodles

  • 2 lb
    stew beef
  • 16 oz
    egg noodles
  • 22 oz
    cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 pkg
    onion soup mix
  • 1 pkg
    brown gravy mix
  • 2 c
    beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter (for browning meat)
  • 3 Tbsp
    oilive oil (for browning meat)

How To Make crockpot beef and noodles

    In skillet, add butter and oil. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Brown meat.

    Spray crock with cooking spray, add broth and mushroom soup. Then add browned meat.

    Add onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, and mix together.
  • 4
    Place lid on crock and cook 2 hours on high, 6 to 7 hrs on low.

    Cook noodles separately. (I cook mine in beef broth, but you can use water.)

    Mix noodles in with beef mixture and stir til well combined.
