I am retired now but when i was working, I relied on crock pot meals often. after a long hard day it is wonderful to have a hot meal waiting for you when you get home especially if it is comfort food on a cold winter day.

Ingredients For crock pot stew

2 lbbeef stew meat, cut in cubes

1/4 call purpose flour

2 tspsalt

1/2 tspblack pepper

1/4 cvegetable oil

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cketchup

1/4 ccider vinegar

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

3 ccarrots, sliced

How To Make crock pot stew

1Mix flour with salt and pepper. Dredge stew beef in flour mixture. Heat oil in skillet and brown the stew meat on all sides.

2I a crock pot, mix all remaining ingredients and add meat. Cover and cook 6-8 hours until carrots and potatoes are tender.

3I like to serve this with corn bread.
