I was in the mood for something spicy tonight, but didn't really feel like cooking. Crock Pot to the rescue! Hope you enjoy this chili with a hint of chocolate.

Ingredients For crock pot spicy chili

1 lgonion, diced

1 lblean ground beef

1 Tbspchili powder

1 tspallspice, ground

1/2 tspcayenne pepper

2 tspcinnamon

2 Tbspcocoa, unsweetened

2 tspgarlic, minced

2 tspjalapeno pepper, minced

2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

2 Tbspvinegar

1 canlight red kidney beans, 15 oz.

1 candark red kidney beans, 15 oz.

1 cancorn, 15 oz.

1 candiced tomatoes, 28 oz.

1/2 cbeef broth

salt, to taste

How To Make crock pot spicy chili

1Use cooking spray to coat inside of cock pot.

2In skillet, lightly brown ground beef. Do not over cook, it will finish cooking in crock pot. You are mostly doing this to break up the meat.

3Then add ingredients to crock pot in order listed. Cook on high for 1 hour, then stir to thoroughly combine all ingredients.

4Continue to cook on high for another 4 hours. Serve with crusty bread or crackers.

5NOTE: Can be cooked on low for 6 - 8 hours or done entirely on stovetop.
