These ground beef patties are served with mashed potatoes. Serve sauce as gravy. Chopped onion and green bell pepper can be found in the freezer section at the store. This works great!

Ingredients For "creole" hamburgers

1 lbground beef, made into patties

1/4 cchopped onion

1/4 cchopped green bell pepper

1 can(10 1/2 oz) condensed tomato soup

3 Tbspbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 dashsalt and pepper

1 dashcinnamon
How To Make "creole" hamburgers

1Using an electric skillet or large stove top skillet, lightly brown ground beef patties on both sides.

2Add onion, green bell pepper, salt and pepper.

3Spoon soup in and around the patties.

4Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.

5Simmer on low heat, turning patties at least once to coat with sauce until ground beef is done.
