This is the first Crock Pot recipe I tried, when I got my first one in 1986. I have tweeked it in the years since. My family loves it, and as my family has grown, so has my Crock Pot and recipe.

Ingredients For creamy swiss steak

2 lbcube steak

1 mdonion, sliced

1 cancream mushroom soup
-
1 cancream of celery soup

1/2 canwater, in each can

1 Tbspgarlic salt
-
1 tsppepper
-
1 cflour, seasoned (enough to dredge meat in)

3 Tbspvegetable oil
How To Make creamy swiss steak

1Season meat with garlic salt and pepper, then dredge in flour. (I like to season flour with garlic powder and season salt).

2Heat oil in skillet on high heat, add meat and brown.

3When meat is browned, add meat and onions to the crock pot in layers.

4Pour soups and water on top.

5Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for4 - 6 hours.

6Serve over rice, and enjoy!
