I didn't feel like baking hot dogs buns today, so I whipped this up in a pinch! I love the breading on these hot dogs. You can eat it with or without the dipping sauce, but I really do enjoy it!

How To Make country fair hot dogs a la paris
-
1Boil hot dogs until they float.
-
2In a mixing bowl, mix harina preparada, ketchup, mustard, and enough chicken broth to make a dough. I make my chicken broth at home and keep it in glass jars for easy access.
-
3Dump on a floured surface. Knead for about 5 minutes. Then roll into a large rectangle.
-
4Cut into 8 squares that are the length of the hot dogs. in the bottom of the square place your cheese, and then the hot dogs atop. Roll up to cover the hot dog, but you needn't seal the ends. Repeat with all the hot dogs.
-
5Then on a greased cookie sheet, place seam side down. Rub each with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt.
-
6Place in the oven at 325F until breading is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
-
7To make dipping sauce, just place all sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Serve a dollop on each plate.
-
8These are different from the traditional American buns. Enjoy! Vive la difference!
