I got this from a friend back in the 60's when I was in college.Everyone I cook it for wants the recipe.It is easy and tastes great!!

Ingredients For corn chip tacos

1 lbground beef

1 cchopped onion
-
2 clovegarlic, or 1/2 teaspoon

2 dashtobasco sauce

1 tspcumin
-
1/8 tsppepper

2 tspsugar

1 1/2 tspsalt

1 Tbspbutter
-
1 cantomatoe sauce (8oz)

1 cantomatoe paste (6oz)

3 canwater (60z)
-
1-3 tspchili powder
-
1 tsporegano, dried
-
1/2 cprecooked rice
-
fritos corn chips
How To Make corn chip tacos

1Saute ground beef, onion, and garlic in butter until brown. Mix in all remaining ingredients except corn chips, and simmer for 30 minutes uncovered. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Cover and remove from heat, and let stand for 5 minutes.

2Serve meat mixture over corn chips. Top with grated cheese, chopped onions,tomatoes,olives and sour cream, or whatever you think sounds good.
