Ingredients For classic steak

  • 2 lb
    round steak
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1
    envelope of dry onion soup mix
  • 1
    pie top

How To Make classic steak

    Place steak or roast, seasoned with salt and pepper, in a casserole dish. Pour mushroom soup over steak. Sprinkle with onion soup. Then cover with pie top dough (you can buy packages in the frozen aisle).

    Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake steak at 350 degrees for 2-3hours. When meat is done, let the top brown with foil open.
