Ingredients For classic italian lasagna

meat sauce:

1 lbground beef
-
1/2 lbitalian pork sausage
-
3/4 cchopped onions
-
1 canitalian plum tpmatos, cut up and undrained

16oz can tomato paste
-
1 tspdried basil
-
1/2 tsporegano, dried
-
1/2 tspsugar
-
1/4 tspgarlic powder
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
cheese mixture
-
115oz container of ricotta cheese
-
1 ccottage cheese
-
2beaten eggs
-
1/2 cparmesan cheese
-
1/4 cchopped fresh parsley
-
4 cshredded mozzarella
-
10uncooked lasagna noodles
How To Make classic italian lasagna

1Cook noodles, drain and place in cold water

2in large saucepan combine beef, sausage, and onion. Cook till meat is done., Drain. Add all remaining meat sauce ingredients, mix well. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 30-45 minutes or till very thick. Stirring occasionally

3In a medium bowl combine all cheese mixture ingredients, except mozzarella. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread about 1/2 cup of meat sauce over the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 baking dish. Top with 3 noodles, half of cheese mixture and half of the mozzarella. repeat layers, ending with the mozzarella.

4Bake for 35-45 minutes or till bubbly. Let stand a few minutes before serving
