Ingredients For cj's chili

1 lblean ground beef

1 clovegarlic

1 lgonion

1 mdgreen pepper-finely chopped

4 Tbspchili powder

1 Tbspapple cider vinegar

1/4 tspallspice, ground

1/4 tspcoriander
-
1 tspcumin

1/2 tspsalt (add to taste)

1/2 cwater

32 oztomatoes crushed

1-16 canred kidney beans - undrained
How To Make cj's chili

1Cook ground beef, chopped garlic, chopped onion & chopped green pepper in heavy skillet, over medium-high heat; until onion is soft, ground beef is no longer pink. Stir frequently, breaking up ground beef.

2Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil, cover and ***reduce heat. Simmer for 45 to 1 hour. Stir frequently. Garnish with chopped fresh onion, shredded cheese or other favorites.

3Suggested adjustments for "Hotter Chili" add favorite hot sauce to taste: more "Flavorful Chili" cook an hour longer: "Beanless Chili" omit beans, increase lean ground beef by 1 pound: "Thicker & Fuller Chili" add a Tablespoon of Mesa (Corn Flour.)

4Hints: Measure out all ingredients before cooking. ***Short on time, transfer ingredients to Slow Cooker after bringing to boil. Stir occasionally. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours. Add water if too thick.
