An easy, delicious taco pie, perfect for Cinco de mayo! If you love tacos, you'll love this pie. I serve it w/ sour cream, chopped green onions, and a little salsa.

Ingredients For cinco de mayo taco pie

    8 oz cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1-1/2 lb
    ground lean beef, or ground turkey breast
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 2 c
    reduced-fat, shredded mexican style cheese
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make cinco de mayo taco pie

    Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. Unroll 1 can crescent rolls, pinch seams together. Press dough into bottom of pan. Bake for 10 mins.

    Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. Cook beef or ground turkey and onion until beef is cooked through. Drain if using ground beef. Stir in cheese and remaining ingredients.

    Stir to mix. Spoon mix over bottom crust. Unroll remaining can of crescent rolls, pinch seams together. Place on a floured surface and roll into a rectangle. Place rectangle over beef mix. Bake 20 mins, or until crust is golden.
