This is my very own chili recipe. Perfect for a cold day! Garnish with your favorite topping. I serve mine with cheese and a side of corn bread.

2 lblean ground beef

3 canred kidney beans, drained

3 canlight red kidney beans, drained

1 mdonion diced

1 mdgreen pepper diced

1 lgjar of your favorite red sauce

1 cantomato paste

1 candiced tomatoes

1/3 cchili powder

1 Tbspsalt

1 Tbsppepper

2 Tbspgarlic powder

3 cwater

2 pinchred pepper flake
How To Make christine's crock~pot chili

1Add drained beans, sauce, tomato paste, tomatoes, and 3 cups of water to crock pot. Stir on medium heat. In a saute pan pan cook the ground beef adding salt and pepper to taste. When beef is done pour into a strainer. Add to pot of beans and sauce. Stir in chopped green pepper, and onion. If mixture is too thick add more water. Now add red pepper flake, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Last is the chili powder. ***add as much or as little as you prefer but I use 1/3 cup. Simmer on low for 6 hours. ****add a little more water if needed.
