I have no idea where this came from. My mom used to make them when she wanted a quick dinner. (it takes less then 20 minutes from start to finish). It is a great twist on sloppy joes and tastes ready good.

Ingredients For chow mein burgers

1 lbground beef

1/2 cchopped onion

16 oz canchopped suey vegetables, drained

1/3 ccold water

3 Tbspsoy sauce

8hamburger buns

3 oz canchow mein noodles

2 Tbspcorn starch
How To Make chow mein burgers

1In medium skillet, combine ground beef and chopped onion; cook till meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Drain and return to skillet.

2Add chop suey vegetables.

3Stir water and soy sauce into cornstarch; stir into beef mixture

4Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring to coat vegetables and meat.

5Spoon mixture onto bottom halves of toasted hamburger buns.

6Crumble a few chow mein noodles over each sandwich

7Cover with top halves of hamburger buns and Serve.
