Ingredients For chili con carne for frito pie (crockpot)

2 lbground beef (i use lean)

8 clovegarlic, minced

3 Tbspred chili powder

4 tspground cumin

2 canundrained chopped tomatoes (28-oz cans)

2 canrinsed and drained pinto beans (16-oz cans)

salt and pepper to taste

2large bags of fritos
-
1 1/2 lbshredded mild cheddar cheese

1 lgyellow onion, chopped
How To Make chili con carne for frito pie (crockpot)

1Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic; cook through. Drain and place into crockpot. Add all of the ingredients (except the Fritos and cheese) to the crockpot, stirring until mixed. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.

2To serve: Add a handful of Fritos to a bowl, top with chil and some shredded cheese.
