Ingredients For chili and cornbread casserole

1 lbground beef

1/2 conion, chopped

1 Tbspchili powder

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

salt to taste

8 oztomato sauce, plus one can of water

2 cankidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 cself-rising corn meal

1 cbuttermilk

1egg
How To Make chili and cornbread casserole

1Brown ground beef and onion. Drain.

2Add chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer 5-10 min. Add beans and pour into ungreased casserole dish.

3Mix cornmeal, buttermilk, and egg. Pour over meat mixture and spread it around.

4Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes or till cornbread is done and browned.
