2 lbground beef

1/2 lbmild sausage

1 can29 oz. kidney beans with liquid

1 can29 oz. pinto beans with liquid

1 conion, diced (~1 medium onion)

1/4 cdiced celery (1 stalk)

2 tspground cumin

1 can29 oz. tomato sauce

1/2 cdiced gree chili (2 chilies)

1 1/2 tspblack pepper

2 cwater

3 mdtomatoes, chopped

3 Tbspchili powder

2 tspsalt
How To Make meat and bean chili

1brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off the fat. Using a fork, crumble the meat into small pieces.

2In a large pot, combine the meat plus all the remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes or so, for 3 hours, Serves about 12.
