I got this idea from my old fashioned "steak" finger recipe. This is a quick main dish entree and is great to eat as a chicken fried "steak" sandwich, too.

Ingredients For chicken fried "steak" or sandwich

3frozen 100% pure beef 80/20 patties or angus patties

2 cmilk
-
dashsalt and pepper, to taste

2 cflour

2 1/3 ccrisco, for deep frying
How To Make chicken fried "steak" or sandwich

1Dip each patty into milk, sprinkle with salt and pepper and coat in flour. (I use a gallon sized zip lock bag for flour) Dip each coated patty in milk again and then flour-for second coating.

2Deep fry in melted hot Crisco until done and browned on each side. Approximately 4 minutes on each side.

3Place on absorbent paper towels. Sprinkle lightly with salt, if desired. Note: Serve with gravy or ketchup.
